Hi, I’m Rachel (She/Her/Hers).

I started my counseling career back in Portland, Oregon working with children, teenagers, and families in 2014.

I became a Seattleite in 2018, and joined a wonderful group practice full of great women mentors. In 2022, I began my own practice to continue serving clients across Washington state.

“And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”

— Anaïs Nin

My Approach

I believe every person is the expert of their own life. My hope is to provide you with a warm, and welcoming space, where you can feel both seen and heard without fear of judgment.

I like to focus on building our relationship together by earning and keeping your trust throughout each session. My approach is very collaborative, and I celebrate the process of transparency by sharing my thoughts and ideas on treatment and progress.

The greatest gift of being a therapist has been the continued realization that people are resilient. I lead with gentle curiosity, and learn from my clients constantly. I find that each person’s unique experience and outlook on life has shaped me as a therapist, and continues to contribute to my larger work. I’m here to help you build tolerance for the unpleasant feelings we all experience, and to remind you that you’re not alone.

Professional Bio

I’ll bring years of experience with blended and integrative theoretical perspectives, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Self Compassion, Narrative Therapy, and Attachment work to help you reach your goals for therapy. I especially enjoy helping young adults experiencing life transitions, supporting those who are a part of the LGBTQIA+ communities, and folks who are desiring to focus on relationship issues. I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling in 2015 in Portland, Oregon. I received my Oregon license as a Professional Counselor in 2017, followed by my Washington license in 2018 as a Mental Health Counselor.
